OPTION 1: RELAX WHILE WE TRAIN - TYPICAL SCHEDULE

Your Schedule:
8:00 AM - Drop off your dog for training
8:00 AM to 5:00 PM - Your day is free! Explore the area, relax, attend events
5:00 PM - Pick up your dog
5:30 PM - Evening practice session (we teach you what your dog learned)
Evening - Enjoy dinner and quality time with your dog
Night - Your dog sleeps with you in the pool house

8:00 AM - Morning training session
9:30 AM - Outdoor exercise and exploration
11:00 AM - Mental enrichment and confidence building
12:00 PM - Rest and lunch
1:00 PM - Afternoon training session

8:00 AM to 12:00 PM - Hands-on training sessions with our guidance (you're actively training your dog with professional coaching)
12:00 PM to 2:00 PM - Lunch break and downtime
2:00 PM to 4:00 PM - Afternoon training session or practice time
4:00 PM to 5:00 PM - Homework review and next

We'll discuss your dog's needs, your goals, which option is best for you, and available dates.
 
Step 2: Choose Your Dates
Weekend, one-week, or two-week program. We'll check availability and reserve your spot.
 
Step 3: Complete Enrollment
Provide vaccination records, pool house rental agreement, and training intake questionnaire.
 
Step 4: Arrive and Begin
Check into the pool house, meet with us for orientation, and start your Stay Inn & Train experience!
 
LIMITED AVAILABILITY
The pool house can only accommodate one family at a time, and our training schedule allows for limited Stay Inn & Train clients per month. Popular dates (UGA football weekends, holiday periods, summer months) book quickly. We recommend reserving your spot at least 4 to 6 weeks in advance.
 
CANCELLATION POLICY
Deposits are non-refundable as we reserve both accommodations and training time exclusively for you. However, you may reschedule your dates one time without penalty if needed (subject to availability). Full payment is due at check-in.

Common Questions About Day Stay Inn & Train

In Board and Train, your dog lives with us full-time and you go home. In Stay Inn & Train, you stay on property in our pool house, and your dog either trains with us during the day (Option 1) or you train together with our coaching (Option 2). Either way, your dog sleeps with you each night in the pool house.

Choose "Relax While We Train" (Option 1) if you want your dog professionally trained while you enjoy vacation activities, but you still want to be nearby and practice with your dog daily.
 
Choose "Train Together" (Option 2) if you want to be hands-on in every training session, learn all the techniques yourself, and have intensive coaching throughout the process.
 
Both options produce excellent results. It depends on whether you want a relaxing vacation with training included, or an intensive educational experience.

Absolutely! The pool house can accommodate families. There's space for children and other family members. Just let us know total occupancy when booking.

No problem! We can work with multiple dogs. There's a pet fee of 50 dollars per night for the first dog and 25 dollars per night for each additional dog. We'll customize the training plan for each dog's needs.

The Stay Inn & Train program includes pool house accommodations, and we strongly encourage using them for the full immersive experience. However, if you prefer to stay elsewhere, we can discuss a modified program. Contact us for options.

Yes, especially with Option 1. You can be as involved or uninvolved as you want. We're flexible and adapt to your preferences.

The pool is seasonal, typically available May through September depending on weather. Even outside pool season, the pool house accommodations are comfortable and available year-round.

We understand emergencies happen. Contact us immediately and we'll work with you. Training fees are non-refundable, but we'll do our best to help you reschedule the remaining time or transition your dog to Board and Train to complete the program.

Yes! Your dog stays with you in the evenings and you're welcome to take them to the lake (2 minutes away) during your free time. Just maintain their training and safety.

No, the pool house has a full kitchen and you provide your own groceries and meals. There are several grocery stores within 10 to 15 minutes, and many restaurants in the area.

Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport is about 90 minutes away. There's also a smaller regional airport in Athens (45 minutes). Many clients drive from surrounding states as it's a beautiful scenic drive.
